Terms of Service
Last updated: May 12, 2026
The short version
- Be real and be kind. Use your real identity, treat other people with respect, and don't harass, deceive, or endanger anyone.
- You own your content. You keep the rights to what you post; you just give us permission to show it inside the app so the service works.
- You're responsible for your account. Keep your login secure and don't let others use it.
- We can remove accounts that break the rules. Safety comes first — abuse, fraud, or illegal activity gets you removed.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and BriCorp Inc. (“DoubleDate,” “we,” “our”) governing your use of the DoubleDate mobile apps and website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use DoubleDate. By using the Service you represent that you are 18 or older, that you can form a binding contract with us, and that you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your jurisdiction. DoubleDate is a dating and social-connection service intended for adults.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Use your real identity and accurate information. Notify us immediately at support@doubledate.com if you believe your account has been compromised. You may not create an account for anyone else or transfer your account to another person.
4. Acceptable use
When using DoubleDate, you agree that you will not:
- Harass, threaten, bully, impersonate, or intimidate any person.
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, or violent.
- Solicit money, run scams, spam, or advertise without our permission.
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or affiliation with any person or entity.
- Collect or harvest other users' information, or use bots or scrapers.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data you're not authorized to access.
- Use the Service for anything illegal, or to facilitate harm to others.
Because DoubleDate connects people through their real social graph, honesty and respect are not optional — they are the product.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, text, and other content you submit (“User Content”). By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in routine backups or as required by law.
You are responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights to post it. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use your photos or messages to train AI models except where you explicitly opt in.
6. Safety and reporting
Your safety matters. You can report or block other users from within the app. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms. Meeting people from the internet carries real-world risk — always meet in public, tell a friend, and trust your instincts. DoubleDate does not conduct criminal background checks on users.
7. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the app's settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your conduct risks harm to other users or to us, or if required by law. We may also discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, with reasonable notice where practical.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that other users are who they claim to be, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BriCorp Inc. and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or your interactions with other users. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the change means you accept the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the most recent revision.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which BriCorp Inc. is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We'll add the specific governing jurisdiction here once our business registration is complete.
